Why This Reference Exists
Idaho Title 74 opens many government records to the public. Still, exemptions and redactions apply. The record custodian has the final say on what gets released. Clark County names Sheriff Mark McClure and lists the jail, yet its own pages offer no searchable roster and no live booking feed. Idaho Code 20-601, along with the Idaho jail standards, shows why a booking file can hold a photograph and fingerprints without ever appearing on a public photo page.
So where do the official threads lead? Agency and court context comes from the Clark County Sheriff's Office, its staff directory, and the county clerk page. A later court event belongs in Idaho iCourt. Someone under state correctional jurisdiction lands in the Idaho Department of Correction search. This site gathers those distinctions, official links, and records-request pointers in one place. It stores no official records. It runs no gallery and rehosts no booking photograph.
What You Will Find Here
Everything here is organized around the real Clark County source map. No invented rosters. No generic county directory.
- The home page explains the county booking record, the absence of a verified public roster or feed, the Idaho Public Records Act request path, court follow-up, and the difference between custody states.
- The Dubois Busted Mugshots and Spencer Busted Mugshots pages account for both incorporated places in the county and describe how each city connects to the documented county system.
- Sheriff's Most Wanted covers safe warrant verification, while Mugshots in the News explains how regional stories relate to official records.
- State and court follow-up explains when the IDOC search, iCourt, an archive inquiry, or a written records request is the better match for the record being sought.
What We Cannot Provide
Clark County Busted Mugshots runs independently. It holds no affiliation with the Idaho government, the Clark County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Mark McClure, the Clark County Jail, the Idaho Department of Correction, or any other agency.
- We cannot release, hold, transfer, or otherwise control a person in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send money for another person.
- We cannot give legal advice or decide what a charge or court record means.
- We cannot promise that a phone number, fee, address, roster status, or source link remains current.
For current custody, filed charges, or release details, go straight to the originating agency or court. When details conflict, the official record always controls.
Search Partners and Referrals
Outside providers supply some of the search boxes on this site. Each one sets its own prices, terms, and result practices. Follow a tool to a paid signup, and Clark County Busted Mugshots may earn a referral fee. That fee helps keep the service running. It buys no control, though. It does not make the provider a government source. Nor does it give this site any say over pricing, data, or results.
